It is customary that a website provide an e-mail address for contact or comments. However, you will find only a U.S. Mail address for this project, because the webmaster is thirteen years old and is not yet permitted e-mail contact with the wider world. He used Dreamweaver MX 2004 to create this site, importing text written by the author (his father) and scanning photographs using an Epson Perfection 1250 scanner which captures images at a 300 dpi resolution. The author practices oil and gas law and can scarcely spare the time for this project, which for that reason moves rather slowly. The immediate objective is to post to this site a station-by-station look at the system, with photographic imagery. It will take some time to accomplish this task, which will initially be limited to a survey of stations along the 700 mile portion existing when the agreement was made to sell out to the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe. Contributions of information or photographic images (for which copy expenses will be paid in advance), or comments generally, will be appreciated and put to good use. The files supporting this project are destined ultimately for the Western History Center of the University of Texas at Austin.
